It’s Monday again – that means lots of coffee to start the day and the extra tug to get out of bed. But why make it so hard on yourself with great events like these this week? Tuesday, June 24: The UW-Whitewater Greenhill Center of the Arts (950 W Main St) presents Deathtrap from June 24 – 28. Join in the suspense and comedy as Broadway writer Sidney Bruhl attempts to come out of a dry spell with a potential new hit script. Watch as the plot twists leaving you guessing until the end. Tickets are available for the general public for $12.00, over 65 for $10.00, under 18 for $7.50 and UWW students with ID for $4.50. http://www.uww.edu/youngauditorium Thursday, June 26: The first Concert in the Park Series kicks off with the Palmyra-Eagle Community Band. This free event is being held at Cravath Lakefront Park (341 S Fremont St) from 7 pm to 8 pm. Check in begins at 8 am, shotgun starts at 9 am and runs until 1 pm. All of the proceeds help support programming in the arts for people with disabilities and area youth. There will also be putting &chipping contests, mulitgans for sale, raffle items, door prizes and a $10,000 Hole in One Grand Prize sponsored by Binning & Dickens Insurance. $75 for a single player, $280 for a team of 4.
