After a few days of being swamped in the office, your regular blog posts are back! Looking for your next big adventure this week? Here are some suggestions: June 9 & 12: Trying to get into the acting field? Studio84 (121 W Center St) is opening auditions for adult parts in their upcoming show “The Writer’s Cave.” Interested? Be at Studio84 at 7 pm Monday, June 9 or Thursday, June 12 with a prepared 3 minute monologue. The show will premier in late July. June 10: If wine tasting is your thing, join The Black Sheep (210 W Whitewater St) for a 25 wine tasting for $25. Choose either a white or red flight for the night. Feeling adventurous and want to try both? Go ahead for $35. Tickets are purchased in advance by clicking here. June 12 – June 29: Check out the art gallery at the Arts Alliance (402 W Main St) for photographs by faculty and staff of UW-Whitewater in the display “Eyes of Whitewater.” The gallery is free to the public and is open Thursdays – Sundays weekly until June 29. June 14: The Whitewater Country Club (N9035 89 South, Whitewater) is still taking reservations for their Father’s Day menu. On Saturday get 2 rounds of 18 hole golf, cart rental, 2 drinks and 2 lunches for $100. Lunch is also available for $26 a person. Reservations are a must and can be placed at 262-473-3305.
