Fishing & Boating

The area’s lakes offer a great variety of recreation. There are public beaches, picnic areas, boating, and fishing. In the summer, there are ski shows on Whitewater Lake, and in the winter you can find Whitewater Lake scattered with ice shanties as fisherman compete in the Lions Annual February "Fish-A-Ree." Only a short 20 minute drive from Whitewater lies Rushing Waters, an award winning trout farm offering year round fee fishing. Up for a paddle? Interested in boat rentals? Visit Parkside Marina 262-473-5029, Scenic Ridge Campground 608-883-2920 or JNT's Marina 608-883-2830 on Whitewater Lake for all your fishing, row boat, canoe, or pontoon needs. Reddy's Guide Service offers charter boat fishing on Whitewater Lakes as well as Ice Fishing set up and service through the winter months.

Kayak and Paddle Boat rentals are now available at Cravath Lakefront Park on Whitewater St. beginning May 15th. Free fishing poles rentals are also being offered. Rental hours: Thurs.-Fri. 4-10pm, Sat. & Sun. 2-8pm.
